What is this all about?

Originally from Buffalo, the iconic Buffalo Sandwich - Roast Beef on Kimmelweck (BOW) - made a lasting impression on my palate.


When my wife and I moved to Florida, the craving for a good BOW grew stronger and stronger. 


This blog is the result of a search for restaurants with BOW on their menu, mentioned in the FB group "Beef on Weck Appreciation Society", and recommendations of friends.

I'm a Grand Island, NY native who moved to Florida in the 1970's.  I retired as a head brewer and craft brewery owner in 2019 and started a serious search for a great BOW this year.
